Over my many years of studying and teaching through the Bible, including what has been clearly revealed to us all such as in Revelation 21 and 22 regarding God's perfect ultimate purposes and plans for us as human beings made in His image, and for all of His creation, I've become increasingly amazed and convinced with the deepest joy and peace concerning the awesome sweeping magnitude and completeness of God's great love and grace found in Jesus Christ, His Son and His appointed Savior and Lord of all. The promises made are breathtaking, including that one day to come God will put a perfect end to all tears, pain, sorrow, alienation, darkness and death.
Several years ago I spent considerable time working on writing a song that might clearly express the joy, peace and anticipation of this destiny of light to come. I titled the song "Someday". It had and still has a bridge of its own between the verses which I wrote.
And then I began to constantly hear Walt Harrah's beautifully written song "No More Night" performed by talented artists such as Glen Campbell and David Phelps. Harrah's song, especially the chorus, expressed so much of the same joyful theme of what is yet to come for all creation from God's heart and power. Since the verses of my song "Someday" fit so well with the chorus of "No More Night" I decided to pursue the legal right to join them in a produced version which is called "Someday / No More Night".
